Q: What is a Podcast?
A: Podcasts are a great way to share radio-like programs over the internet. You can go to sites that contain podcasts and subscribe (often for free) to the ones you like. Once you subscribe to a podcast new shows automatically download to your computer according to your subcription settings. The term "podcast" was popularized due to an audio and video device known as the iPod. You can connect an iPod directly to your computer and store your podcasts on it for instant portability.
Q: How do I set-up to recieve the BCF podcast?
A: There are several programs available that can subscribe to an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed which is what contains the Podcast program.
- Using iTunes:
- Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer. Click the link on the right colum of this page to download it. Then follow your on screen instructions to install iTunes.
- Open iTunes
- On the upper left corner of the iTunes window click "podcasts"
- On the bottom right of the podcast page click "podcast directory" This will connect you to the iTunes online podcast directory
- Type "Berlin Christian Fellowship" in the search space in the upper right corner of the page ("Search iTunes Store").
- You will see the BCF podcast listing. Click the tree icon for a larger view or click "subscribe" to subscribe right away.
- This will begin the download process to your computer. Enjoy!
